The pitching matchup (Sonny Gray vs. Andrew Painter) favors Boston, and Willson Contreras is scheduled to be back in the Red Sox lineup after missing Tuesday game with a hand contusion. Contreras has been the best hitter in a woeful Red Sox offense. Boston is also at home, although the Red Sox have a 7-13 record at Fenway Park this season.
